What happened when a small firm swapped its offsite for a food bank shift
An accounting practice wanted its team day to mean something. The hard part was knowing where to start.

The partners had talked about doing something for the community for a couple of years. It kept slipping, because nobody had the time to find the right organisation and organise the day.
In the end they asked around, found a food bank that needed help packing hampers before the holidays, and booked the whole team in for a morning.
The feedback was the best they’d had for any team day. Three staff have since signed up to volunteer on their own.
“We’d been meaning to do it for ages. Once someone made it easy, everyone was in.”
Making it easy is the part HMN KND wants to help with: finding the right fit, making the introduction and handling the organising.
